The @nytimes crossword really needs a multiplayer/play with friends mode so I can play with my mom on Sundays.

@seattleiminyou But does Indiana have a silly seal season? x.com/washingtonpost…

The Washington Post @washingtonpost

A baby fur seal was spotted wandering through a busy road and alley in Wellington, New Zealand, before police moved it to a safer location. Baby seals often venture into unusual places between June and September, a period the Department of Conservation call “seal silly season.”

Why are we so nostalgic when it comes to sponsors? It's been 20 years but the club is still repping AIG on merch, enabling them to sports wash their image. AIG was a major player involved in the '08 financial crisis and got a $150 BILLION bailout, we should be ashamed of them.

Notice how the poll presupposes you want a change to the sentencing and only has options for increased punishments? They are forcing the narrative that everyone wants to punish graffiti more, ignoring any counter arguments.

Ballard FC is usually about supporting local businesses and artists. This is partnering with a global computer company to sports wash their AI products and an artist who isn't from here and knows nothing about Ballard. How is this about community?

Maybe it was the 'green herb' from the game, but I still like the play on words.

Underrated Resident Evil easter egg, there's a house plant left in an abandoned car, it was a 'monstera'.

Why'd they call the movie "Other Mommy" and not "(M)other"?

@seattleiminyou Alki It's clearly Seattle based if you've lived here, non gendered, and easy to say with a strong consonant. If you want to have a nick name and/or make it gendered you could shorten Alki to 'allie' or 'kai'.

Kid at pick up had a barca kit with "shakra" on the back...I think he misspelled Shakira, a true barca legend.

How is that not offsides?! Enzo is clearly off and attempts to play the ball, even if there's no touch he's affecting the play.

I have a bone to pick with whoever designed Paramount's web experience. Any mouse movement triggers a side panel that covers a lot, in particular the score and time for a live game, and there is no clear boundary for where a click will register on the panel or the media.

@hannahkrieg I thought my supermarket screwed up the tax and emailed the WA State Department of Revenue just for them to tell me it was right. The tax should be for the abv of the final product or the volume of the high abv ingredient. Ridiculous.
