Yes, you’re absolutely right. What touched me most when I saw this photo on Facebook wasn’t even the device itself. The woman who posted it said that when she opened it, it was still marked on the phone number of her childhood boyfriend… and she quickly closed it so her husband wouldn’t see. 😂❤️ If she was around 20 when she used it in the 1970s, she could be around 70 or 80 today, and she was still worried about making her husband jealous. I thought that was incredibly sweet. Maybe that’s the real charm of old technology: sometimes it doesn’t just preserve information. It preserves little pieces of our lives.
