A weld seam spec'd at 3/16" arrives at the station anywhere from ⅛" to ¼". A 45° bevel drifts between 40° and 50° across its length. A skilled welder scans the joint, adjusts, and executes without thinking twice. A traditional welding robot fails. Scan. Plan. Weld. Before the arc starts, Obsidian generates a sub-millimeter point cloud of the seam, capturing root opening, bevel angle, and variation along the joint. Then it plans the passes, sets the parameters, and welds. No perfect fit-up required. No reprogramming between parts.

@SkinnyfatTony @Jack1000k @LeoKharon You plug him in, and he goes brrrr. Most of these are going into shipyards that have welders and gas everywhere. So you'd bring Rove to an area, hook him up, and he can work within a 30-foot radius for as long as he needs to.
