Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy is not about the End Times. (Daniel 9:25-27) It was fulfilled in completion by Jesus Christ who was cut off but not for Himself. Who made a covenant with many for one Holy Week. And who, in the middle of that week (Wednesday not Friday) was sacrificed on the cross as the Final Sacrifice acceptable to God; putting to an end the sacrifices forever. And the end of that city and temple came upon the abomination that made desolate. Over a million Jews slaughtered, the city destroyed, and survivors fleeing to the wilderness to escape the wrath of Roman retribution. That’s it; that’s the whole prophecy. There are plenty of prophecies about End Times, but that is not one of them.
Just like Jesus used when He confronted Satan Himself! (Luke 4) He used His rosary to pray that devil away while calling to His mom for help! Oh wait… actually He used the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God to repel Satan and turn his lies to nothing! You know, as Christians; we are called to FOLLOW Christ as He is our example!
