My morning takeaway from Surah 18, The Cave, Ayats 23–40 is simple: keep Allah at the center of everything. Ayats 23–24 remind us that tomorrow is not promised and that our plans should always be made with *“If Allah please.”Ayats 25–31 teach us to hold firmly to Allah’s guidance, surround ourselves with those sincerely seeking Him, and remember that our choices have consequences. Then Ayats 32–40 through the parable of the two gardens, remind us not to become arrogant because of our possessions, accomplishments, status, or influence. Everything we have is by Allah’s permission and can change at any moment. That ties directly into my reminder today: take care of yourself, enjoy your life, love your family, encourage others, and stop wasting precious energy arguing with people who have nothing to do with your purpose. Stay focused on Allah. Stay focused on the work. Be grateful for your garden, but never forget Who gave you the garden. Protect your peace, protect your purpose, and keep Allah first.

Welcome home @UncleRUSH Morning meditation I have a message for Black men. The other day, after visiting the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, and seeing the thousands of FOI Members in their shiny skin and shiny uniforms ..I rode through the hood in Chicago with my brother Wali. I saw despair on the faces of our men. It wasn’t a new scene, but something in me saw it differently. It made me ask myself: Have I lived nearly 70 years and still not served enough? I saw brothers who seemed to have so little opportunity, so little reason to believe things could change. Without the words I had just heard from the Minister, I’m not sure I would have known what to say. This morning, in meditation, this came to me: We’ve got to go to work. I can’t reach every Black man at once. But if I reach a few of you and help you take a step toward a better life, maybe I’ve done something that pleases God. My brothers, I encourage you to visit a Nation of Islam mosque. Listen. Consider joining. Begin the work of putting your life in order, strengthening your family, and serving your community. At the heart of that work is personal transformation—mental, physical, and spiritual. I believe in the discipline, brotherhood, and sense of purpose the Nation offers. And I believe that when you take a step toward God and put in the work, God meets you in that effort. This is what was on my heart after meditation this morning. This is what I believe. And I pray that some of you will accept the call.
