@CanuckCreator @LDOmotorsJASON @LDOmotors Yeah I was up in the air at first but the added time, printing, and weight led me to just go with the flatbed. I did a lot of the parts in PCCF because I had it and must have some over extrusion but that’s a me thing and the manual has been great.

@edgeof3d Oh wow, does the three zone just use a single compressor? I have seen some that are basically two compressors stacked on top of each other. Also is the unit precharged or will you need to have the refrigerant added? Good luck!!

I’ve dreamed about this day for a while now. Finally decided enough is enough after streaming in the garage in the mid 90’s. I did a ton of research before hand but even with that ran into plenty of issues. It’s officially done and the garage feels incredible 🙌.

@BasilFranken That’s fair, I see plenty of things I also feel that way about. This was a part I made when testing a printer and something I actually wanted vs just a part I didn’t need to show off ASAP capabilities. lol that’s funny. It’s been quite the ride.

@BasilFranken I’ve purchased the ones from the dollar store, you can actually see on in the same photo, they suck. There’s also tons of things I do in life that aren’t the most cost effective, but that rarely stops me when I’m excited for the outcome.

@3DPrintAficio Yeah, I’ve just dealt with it for years but summers seem to be getting hotter and my tolerance for working in that environment shrinking. Every time I walk in the garage now it’s such a strange incredible feeling.

@SneakerJeezus Ideally yes. Mine are which I was hoping would be enough to keep my cool for work but instead it has made it more challenging to evacuate heat. Electrical cost and overall efficiency will go down if not insulated.

@blindsay04 to. I have a 2-3ft horizontal run and getting the drain tube to have a consistent decline was more challenging than I thought. If I was going further I probably would have swapped the ribbed drain tube for rigid pvc. You got this!

@blindsay04 Good luck with the installs! I highly recommend nylog on the flare joints. I just bent the pipe by hand myself but I was nervous the entire time. I kept shifting the pivot point to try not to cause too much strain and it worked out. Also if you avoid horizontal runs I would try
