I cannot watch the UFC 329 event on regular live. I have to watch the multi-view. The regular live view throws fatal errors. @paramountplus get your act together. Kinda of big night...
hey @claudeai ... why am I tanking my usage limits so quickly? Sure seems like I get a whole lot less usage as of the past couple weeks. Codex seems much better at managing sessions and usage. I hardly ever hit limits with codex...
I built a web frontend framework... framework.melodic.dev I know, I knw... they're a dime a dozen. Well I still think it's pretty cool!
@jordanshane The man’s voice is unbelievable…
Controversial opinion… Angular > React…
Simple things… like a new keyboard… these are what make me happy.
@jordanshane I tell my friends it’s nice to build something in the real world instead of just the ether all the time…
@WOWCare Please get the issues repaired that are effecting my area in Michigan. I pay for 1gb speeds and I’ve been getting about 2mb all day…
What subjects do you wish that software engineers would cover more?
If you use @code (visual studio code) and also track your work in Azure DevOps I created an extension that pulls boards and backlog issues into vscode… Go check it out… marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName…
MD is getting work here and there and I’m really enjoying getting exposed to other programming languages and frameworks. If you’re looking for a dev to do some work hit me up.
I asked #ChatGPT “Can you write me a jwt validation script in C# using a well known openid configuration in .net 4.8?”… 20 seconds later I had a script. The world is a weird place.
@WOWCare I pay for 1 gig. I RARELY am even close to that. 500 or 600 at most and it seems like my speeds are far slower when I’m not actually running a speed check. The speed check will start at like 3 or 4 mbps and then suddenly jump up to 300 or 400. can anything be done?
I am fairly convinced that @WOW_WAY constricts my internet speeds until I run the connection speed test… it’ll start at like 2 or 3 mbps and after a sec jump up to like 500 or 600… which is still less than the gig I pay for.
@WOWCare assuming there is some sort of large outage that’s affecting me? I can’t even get to the support page to report
If you’re on social media at all it would appear there is no escaping politics… Do people talk about anything else these days? It seems like no.. and that seems like a real problem.
Guess it worked out not getting that job at Facebook a few years back… techcrunch.com/2022/11/09/met…
Is there a way to block anything even remotely political? Right, left, center… I don’t care. I don’t want to hear it. Show me some code. I’d much rather read that.
For those trying to create shareable nuget package code with .net 6 here you go... dev.to/melodicdevelop…
