I did read 'The Dialogues of St Catherine of Siena.' wherein she has direct dialogue with God the Father. Love it, but it's far too lofty and mystical for me. I'll be happy if when I die, if God just says, 'Welcome to the mansion I have prepared fore you from all eternity.'
