They’re never billed together so we don’t see Gillis x Chappelle tickets being sold. Chappelle saw Shane preform. Dave liked the jokes and they became fast friends. At about 3h12m in they talk about at a random drunk night in LA where Shane says “we should do comedy tonight right fellas?” Chappelle hosts and it’s Louis, Pope, Kanye + a few others preforming for a crowd of 27 random people who showed up for a regular club night. x.com/kt_commenter/s…

Last Shane Gillis Post: In the last 25 years Dave Chappelle has shared the stage w/ a short short list of comics. Dave isn’t doing that with a racist. The best comedian in the world has nothing to gain from Shane. Labeled as a misogynist by the same people that say he’s racist and anti-semetic. If actions speak louder than words, what is it they think they know? Just don’t get it.

You are 100% right. Watched Belushi documentary and this YouTube from Dr. Labor after to learn more. There’s a segment she shows where people’s brain has the addiction gene or they don’t. The people who can’t understand addiction or why junkies keep using; either don’t have that gene, or they’ve been fortunate to live in an environment free of addictive influences. Artists were ran ragged really up until smart phones. Justin Bieber and Drake Bell may be the last cases of industry abuse/neglect. No they didn’t kill Kurt. But damn if they didn’t care much to help him either.

Feel there’s something similar with joke telling. And at what point does the reduction stop? Tony Scar tells jokes while singing on a guitar. He’s not stealing Sandler’s act or whoever did it first. Norm couldn’t tag Rogan or gain anything when Hannibal had similar material in 2012 so it’s all oh well.

@KweenPeen @GenPopCorp Song isn’t the point, riff is. That’s why Kurt plays Boston right before the riff he borrowed. People know Ice Ice Baby is stolen because of the riff. Vanilla Ice used a different chord progression for the rest of the song and melodically it’s different as well.

@Learning3fly @DooHusker45603 All of this type of stuff is fascinating, as long as it’s somewhat good. Gotye’s one song being a rip of Reaper by Blue Oyester Cult was fine. Then Doechii took Gotye’s instrumental bar for bar and made Anxiety which is awful.
