@jonwalczak @between2wtc A lot of people visible in that day’s footage of the towers remain un-identified or not with certainty. This can help solving several of those misteries.

Band of Brothers, Brécourt Manor assault, as depicted in the HBO's serie, and how I believe it could be taught in museums, tours, schools... Happy 25th anniversary to one of the best series ever. #bandofbrothers #HBO #DDay

Some time ago I found rarely seen footage of the Pointe du Hoc assault by the Rangers in Normandy, D-Day 1944, and reconstructed the landing in 3D. Full breakdown here: youtu.be/7_Wo_1PV0Jg #DDay #WW2 #RLTW

Last year, I found rare footage of the Pointe du Hoc assault. June 6, 1944. It sat lost in the National Archives. I will try to post a full breakdown of what we're seeing here exactly on my Youtube channel next week! #DDay #PointeDuHoc #ww2

I reconstruct historical events like this in 3D and AR/VR. A full video about Charlie Company is also coming if anyone is interested. For more of the 2nd Rangers, D-Day, and History in general : youtube.com/@JTechHistory #DDay #WWII #History #RLTW

I've been tweeting about Charlie Company of the 2nd Rangers a lot lately. Tomorrow is June 6th, so here is their story on D-Day, in one thread, told with archive photos, 3D reconstruction and footage from the ground where it happened. 65 men on Omaha Beach. June 6, 1944. 🧵

Main sources: Ronald L. Lane - "Rudder's Rangers" Col. Robert W. Black - "The Battalion" Steven J. Zaloga (@ZalogaSteven) - "Smashing Hitler's Guns" Patrick K. O'Donnell (@combathistorian) - "Beyond Valor" Mr. Yves Cordelle, from Vierville, was also of a tremendous help.

The Maison Gambier is gone now, and a campsite sits on top of the cliff, so it’s hard to visualize what really happened in this small area. Every time I go there, this part of the beach is almost always empty.
