Your agent read a webpage. The webpage would now like to be your agent’s manager. When an agent has persistent memory, a malicious instruction can outlive the page it came from. Save it as something trustworthy, and it can influence what the agent does later. I built Carapax to check what gets through that door. It’s an open source memory integrity firewall for AI agents. Before a memory write, it checks where the content came from, applies trust rules and suspicious content checks, and records the decision. The source matters. A sentence from a random webpage shouldn’t carry your authority just because it sounds reasonable.
