I am genuinely worried that when I reach retirement age the state pension - which I have contributed to all my working life -won’t be there for me at all. And I am worried for everyone else in the same situation. Because axing the Triple Lock is just the foot in the door they want. In a few years time it’ll be ‘We have to means test the State Pension’ . The goal will be to get rid of it altogether on the grounds that it’s ’unaffordable’ and ‘national security’ must come first. That’s the direction of travel. Unless we all stand up and fight for our rights.

#Belfast My Grandfather Reg Patrick (centre in photo) was Master of St.Polycarps Orange Lodge, Finaghy. He was a wonderful loving Granda but he openly hated Catholics. My Da never wore the sash. I oppose the Orange Order walking the Garvaghy Road or through other areas where they are not wanted by residents.

Last month, Police Scotland were reportedly stretched to breaking point according to Labour Party's Scottish branch. This weekend 200 Police Scotland officers are over in Northern Ireland to deal with a peaceful protest against an Orange Order match through a Catholic community.
