a)3 papers max per author b) small submission fee (20 dollar) c) use AI tools to filter by checking completeness and correctness of the code behind publications (use the submission fee for the token cost, and conservatively desk reject the worst offenders) d) Filter out papers with >98% Pangram score of the text

@philiptorr a) has some cost. Could be covered by a small submission fee, which is, coincidentally, another strategy against slop.
I am pretty sure that if you filter submissions by a) completeness and correctness of the code behind publications b) <100% Pangram score of the text (i.e., text was at least edited by humans) This will lead to a manageable workload and filter out the worst slop. We designed and evaluated an AI for a): openreview.net/forum?id=xjCJY… Happy to chat if you want to try this out for ICCV
@letonyo I could imagine that the explicit ideas that only appear in one chat get lost in compression. So I think someone has to empirically evaluate this, and until then, I am leaning towards: As long as I don't work on P!=NP, I am likely fine :D

@AlexanderKalian I am open to the possibility that LLMs have some form of consciousness, because no one has a clue how and why consciousness exists. But pain? It exists because of millions of years of evolution.
