Bessemer Closes $5.75B to Fund AI Startups at Every Stage @BessemerVP has raised $5.75 billion in a single close, split between a $4 billion growth pool and $1.75 billion for seed and early-stage rounds. The firm has put more than $3 billion to work in over 260 AI-native startups since 2022, from compute up through models, developer tools, and agents. Bessemer's Israel operations were set up by partner @AdamRFisher. With a team now focused on growth, Israeli AI companies scaling past their early rounds have another large pool of capital to draw on. We sat down with @ArielSterman, Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, earlier this year to talk about how the firm evaluates Israeli founders and where it sees the next wave of AI companies coming from. Ibex Doubles Its Israel Secondaries Bet With Oversubscribed $87M Fund Ibex Investors has closed an oversubscribed $87 million fund dedicated to acquiring stakes held by founders, early backers, and staff at Israeli growth-stage companies. This new fund more than doubles Ibex's first Israel secondary fund, which raised $40 million in 2024. Founder and CEO Justin Borus says the firm has brought in $267 million across its Israel funds since October 7, 2023. Osnat Velingard, who spent five years at Susquehanna Growth Equity, steps in as portfolio manager in Tel Aviv, working with Ibex's Israel partners Aaron Rinberg and Adi Dangot-Zukovsky. Buildots Raises $130M to Become Construction’s Data Layer Israeli construction tech company @buildots has raised $130 million to expand its AI-powered platform across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. The round brings the company’s total funding to $297 million. Buildots uses computer vision trained on eight years of construction-site data to turn video footage into digital twins. This gives project leaders an objective view of progress, potential delays, and performance across entire construction portfolios. Led by CEO and co-founder Roy Danon, along with his co-founders Aviv Leibovici and Yakir Sudry, Buildots plans to expand across more stages of the construction process, from bidding through handover, while providing executives with deeper portfolio-level insights.
