The token's control surface is monitorable now: freeze, forceTransfer, allowlist changes, role grants, proxy upgrades, supply invariants, NAV/multiplier reads, oracle deviation against a reference, and exposure mapping; which pools, vaults and lending markets actually hold it. We can also correlate onchain state against an issuer's own API, so a gap between the book and the chain surfaces in real-time. An allowlist update that blocks a liquidator is a solvency event in compliance clothing, and that's detectable. So the remaining gap is instrument reference data plus a lifecycle calendar, joined to live onchain exposure. That needs issuers, corporate-action vendors and monitoring to wire together.

A regulated token's compliance posture lives in the code that enforces it. On Hypernative's recent discussion panel, Guillermo Muñoz explained that sanctions screening, whitelist integrity and counterparty diligence all have to run continuously against every address already onboarded.
