Anyone remember this Xbox360 game ripper and special DVD drives that read the games. So you could make your backups. Like I said I'm old school with these machines.

@dujuandrock Hey DM me or let's go talk on discord. I need a refresher course. Especially on some of the tools. My last experiences with these machines within 2012. Which I was still happy with back then because they played all my backups. But I want to get it as close as I can to my old JTAG

@Unknown95356 This is a stocked Xbox360 just running a modified dvd drive. These files were used to bypass the dashboard security. They implicated around 2005 to 2009 via ixtreme firmware. It was our way of getting around it before they updated the 3.0 LT.

@V1RACY That this will not load at all without that corresponding USB drive. Believe me I did this as a side hustle for a very long time. Then when I had a few friends get banned from W4 games. Ixtreme came up with this solution. To boot any wave 4,5, 6 games as long as that USB plug-in.

@V1RACY It won't show anything. Those are special title IDs to psych out the patch dashboard to play wave 4 to 6 format before ixtreme firmware 3.0. As you can see the folder is from 2005 and the files are not big.

F*** all these companies saying we have to sign in for checks on our games digital licenses. Xbox360 You downloaded it. You got the license. You can play it anytime. Didn't matter if it was offline for years..

@dujuandrock Yep exactly.. but without that little usb. It cannot read Wave 4 to 6 games. The surprising part is there is no documentation on it. Everybody uses something called active ISO and I don't remember using that back in 2005. As I used to modify these for everyone $$😁.

@dujuandrock The only thing is it doesn't let you use burnt backup games. It's not like a JTAG machine. Luckily my drives are still modified with ixtreme firmware. This way I can rip my backups and put them on a big USB drive now and turn them in xex files.

@V1RACY Nothing's being played off the USB drive, it's less than 1 gig. It's an old school USB drive. Set up with title ID bypasses. Work better on the older dashboard But I had to update to use bad update 1.3
