We have credit card companies that enable their customers to blatantly and repeatedly commit fraud and perpetrate wage theft of hundreds of hours of labor. One guy, 11 times, against 3 people, for $15,750! And we cannot even get them to talk to us about it.

It is pretty warm where I am year round. And this year is insane. Hit 106 yesterday and 84 indoors. 102 today. Way more 100+ days than any years since I moved back. Three more in the forecast. Checking our clients' digital PR campaigns we did 6+ months ago, I am seeing them become the top cited sources for LLMs, even for pretty huge sites. There's, of course, a lot into that (apart from the fact that LLMs do love citing stats): ✅ Solid organic findability (direct correlation with citability. PR projects that didn't end up ranking well in Google are not cited that well) ✅ Strategic (and ethical) seeding on Reddit I've seen many studies that LLMs seem to "trust" sources that regularly publish authority-driving content (original research, whitepapers, etc). Whether it is because they are like people (original research makes people believe a site is kind of a big deal) or because of all other signals (mainly, organic search visibility), but it surely works! Bottom line: If you want to get cited by LLMs, invest in original research in your niche!

I just had the craziest customer service experience at the airport Last night we stayed at the Four Points hotel in Salt Lake City. We had an early morning flight and the hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport. Traveling with 3 kids means your mind is scattered in a million pieces. So when the shuttle dropped us off at the airport at 4:15am, I realized I forgot my glasses I’ve had glasses since 5th grade and I’m pretty much dependent on them for everything (driving, working, etc.). This is also my only pair because apparently I haven’t learned my lesson enough times When I realized I forgot them, I immediately called the hotel and explained what happened. The front desk attendant asked for my room number and if I was still at the airport. “No problem. I’ll find them and have the shuttle driver bring them over.” Instant relief 15 minutes later I get a call saying the driver was on his way with my glasses and I should meet him outside Sure enough, Allen, the shuttle driver for the Four Points by Sheraton was there with my glasses. One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel front desk attendant could have offered to ship them or even tell me I was out of luck. But instead she went to my room, found my glasses, and sent the driver to find me at the airport. @sheratonhotels you’ve got a good crew working for you at the Four Points in SLC. Thank you!

Make that $15,750. He filed another one. TEN are with @Chase VISA and of four with identical proof, they decided two with and two against. Every case has a list of all 11 chargebacks so how can they not see the OBVIOUS FRAUD involved? One lost case is with @AmericanExpress

Credit card companies need to stop siding with customers committing fraud. They are encouraging them to keep doing it. There need to be legal penalties for chargeback theft. We have an ex-client who filed 10 fraudulent chargebacks against 3 different people totaling $13,750.

Chargeback system is seriously broken. Good luck reporting it to credit card companies. Unless you're a current client they won't help. Thieves should be arrested not enabled. Come on @Shopify @ShopifySupport Can't you escalate this?

Out of 11 cases so far (believed to be 10 with Chase and 1 with @AmericanExpress) same fraud, he won 4, lost 6 HELP PLS!

@Chase How can you let one of your customers file TEN chargebacks against THREE people for money they earned and give him ANY of the money back? You are enabling people to hire others, get the work, and then take their earnings away. THIS IS FRAUD and WRONG! @ChaseSupport
