I'm in the news. 3dprintingmedia.network/3d-printed-dar…

@waxpancake This feels like a foreign company with bad translators paying for a poll for market research. Or a juvenile A.I. curious about the world.

@taylordotbiz Well said. It upsets me when people focus on the bad actors or campaigns that fail to deliver not for a lack of effort. Without kickstarter I would have never had the chance to start my business back 2015, which is still humming along.

@ksr_united Thank you for the statement. I wish @Kickstarter would address the commotion from yesterday and be more transparent.

I'm appalled of the number of #kickstarter and #indiegogo backer list I've found on the black market. A fair warning to all creators with ideas of selling their backer list. We're working on a tool that backers can use to trace who sold their information.

@idreamincode @SimoneGiertz @ClarissaRedwine @kickstarter Similarly I’m rethinking my new startup that I’m 4 weeks into that is heavily dependent on Kickstarter being a trustworthy platform.

Tonight there was a walk out to support my brilliant husband who has spent the past six years supporting other people’s dreams. He’s available for hire because our dog likes that organic dog food. Reach him at @taylordotbiz!

@kickstarter As a creator who successfully funded a project through your platform and now pursuing a new startup to bring free tools to market for creators and backers to improve the ecosystem, I'm afraid of your recent actions. Please explain the firings of @taylordotbiz and @ClarissaRedwine

@wezeldog @ekstasis @kickstarter Not sure if that's happening. With the firings today it appears it may not be happening.

@DunjaLazic @kickstarter @taylordotbiz @ClarissaRedwine I 2nd the request for a comment.

@camelfarmer Maybe this. Posted 15 hours ago with 2 mentions of the camels but no links. ittechnologynews24.com/whats-driving-…

@kickstarter @kickstarter All of the above. It all depends on the project. I’ve fallen into each category and surprisingly the distribution of answers on your survey is probably close the distribution of my own behavior.

@fredbenenson @TheAtlantic It’s an interesting thing you’ve brought up. I have to admit, I’ve always thought of AI as a binary, less jobs/different jobs. We really have to think about the growing pains of current jobs and the micro shifts of duties and their effect on us mere humans.

@fredbenenson @TheAtlantic “In the early days, it felt like everyone at the company was competing to see what kind of fun and interesting projects we could recruit to our platform.” - reminds me of scenes from the show Halt and Catch Fire where they’re cataloging new websites for their new search engine.
