One of our Supported Interns recently completed a task in @Bluewaterstones, where he had to locate the educational section and choose a book that was suitable for him. Although this may seem like a small task, it helps develop important skills such as independence.
Our new Supported Interns recently visited @TweetBluewater to learn about the hard work that went into our fundraising for @ellenorcharity. It was a great opportunity for them to build confidence and talk about the positive impact of supporting a local charity.
Together, we’re not just opening doors to employment — we’re helping people take positive steps towards greater independence, confidence and possibility.” We look forward to sharing more as the partnership develops!

CAUTION ⚠️ Falling balloons! On day one of Transition Week, our Supported Interns took on a team-building challenge: protect a water balloon from a drop. From backpacks to cardboard, they got creative! They had a brilliant time getting to know each other! 🎈

This is an amazing testament to the programmes impact on young people with SEND.
Proof that Supported Internships work! Last year (2025-2026), 95% of our Supported Interns achieved a positive next step, including employment, further training or education! Out of the 95%, 48% successfully gained employment!
Stimming shouldn’t be suppressed at work—it should be understood. For many neurodivergent people, stimming helps with focus, anxiety and sensory regulation. If it’s safe and not seriously disruptive, it doesn’t need “fixing.”

Erin got the job! 🎉 After developing her skills in catering at Darent Valley Hospital, Erin trialled with the Domestic Team and has now accepted an offer of employment. Her Job Coach Sam said it’s been amazing to see her confidence grow and new challenges embraced. 👏
Denzel got the job! After making such a great impression as a Supported Intern, Denzel has been offered and accepted employment at Darent Valley Hospital in the Waste Portering team! He has been so good that teams at DVH have been battling as to who will have him!
Leon got the job! Due to his hard work, commitment, dedication, and professionalism, Leon has been able to successfully gain a full-time contract at @uk_dhl Barming! Everyone at Forward2Employment is incredibly proud of Leon and his development this year!
Two of our Supported Interns based at Brompton Barracks have been offered jobs! 🥳 Their Job Coach, Kayleigh, has supported them throughout their placements and is incredibly proud of everything they've achieved. A huge congratulations to them both on this brilliant next step!
Our Supported Interns at @AmazonUK recently celebrated their graduation! We're incredibly proud to share that our 4 Amazon interns have successfully graduated – and a huge congratulations to Scott, Amy and Brandon, who have also gained employment at Amazon LCY8!
As you may remember, Scott, one of our Supported Interns at @AmazonUK, gave a talk about 'Hidden Disabilities' (see our post from 6th July). Well, he has now also taken part in a recent 'Disability Awareness Quiz'. His knowledge led to his winning the star prize: a bear!
