How it was made: ~90% of it was pre-production. Script, shot list, trained character models, locked environment plates, and a written method every prompt had to pass before it ran. Generation was the last and shortest step. Writing up the whole method this week.

The premise isn't invented. Libyan Desert Glass is real — natural silica glass across the Great Sand Sea, roughly 29 million years old, and geologists still don't agree on where it came from. The Garamantes really farmed the Fezzan by pulling water through hand-dug tunnels. I gave the glass an answer.
