A fifteen-second test for any protein powder: turn it over and count the ingredients. Most run fifteen to twenty. Gums, fillers, flavor systems, and often a proprietary blend that hides how much of anything is actually in there. ProEnergy has five. Cold-processed grass-fed whey isolate, natural flavors, xanthan gum, sunflower lecithin, stevia leaf. Five is not a magic number. But a long ingredient list is a question worth asking, and most labels are designed to be read from the front.
