Brad Fucking Bradford’s plan is so stupid; He wants to privatize water. The new corporation will magically lead to lower water costs. At the same time, he says the revenue will go up and will be handed back to residents. So, revenue will go up AND down at the same time.
The anti-Chow zealots have a really hard time grappling with the reality that people in this City actually like their Mayor. Rather than grapple with that they have convinced themselves that she must have won by trickery or vote-splitting.
If Chris Alexander does not withdraw from this race and the results end up being anywhere close to these, he should be persona non grata in polite, centre-right circles forever. This was predictable, predicted, and at this point, intentional sabotage.
I hope the news conference will provide more clarity because the graphic makes this look like a plan to "save money" by paying with our credit line, rather than our bank account... (while simultaneusly weakening our ability to align infrastructure with our housing supply goals).
