Record every source as its own video file: A smaller release with one big addition for anyone who edits after the stream. This release also brings Mac up to parity with windows, feature wise. Per-source video recording, Isolated video for each source. Turn on "Per-Source Video Recording" in Settings under Recording and every camera, display, window, capture card, NDI, Spout and Portal source is recorded to its own video file, right alongside your normal recording. Reframe a camera, cut to a clean gameplay capture, or drop a source out entirely - all in post, from footage you already have. You can set the quality with the bitrate field next to the toggle. Files land in the session's "video" folder. A source's file ends when you leave its scene and a fresh one starts when it comes back, and sources that appear in several scenes keep recording straight through. Worth knowing: this uses extra disk space, and each source takes one hardware encoder session while you record. Right there in the editor. Open a session in the recording editor and your video files are listed with the rest of the tracks, with "Show in folder" to jump straight to any of them. Files that behave in other editors. Stems are finalized with proper duration and seek data, so scrubbing works normally in your NLE and the timing lines up. Empty leftovers are cleaned up too - no more 0-byte files cluttering the session, and durations now reflect the actual footage. Odds and ends, Better stream stats. When you go out to more than one place at once, each platform now tracks its own viewers and bitrate instead of everything being lumped together. As always, let us know what's working and what isn't. 📢Version 0.2.57⁩ release notes! Fixed a rare failure where starting a Relay stream could silently send no video while the app blamed your internet connection. The app now actively nudges the encoder until your stream's first keyframe is delivered, and if a hardware encoder ever gets stuck it says so clearly instead of leaving you guessing. Correct keyframe spacing at every frame rate Streaming at 30fps was quietly stretching keyframes to 4 seconds apart: a configuration platforms like Twitch flag as unsupported and can punish with degraded quality options. Keyframes now stay locked to 2 seconds no matter what frame rate your canvas runs at. Scene collections Stability Improvements Saving and loading your scene collections is now more defensive: corrupted files are detected before they can overwrite your good backups, and collections that lost their name are restored instead of disappearing from the list. Fixes & polish Instant Replay (F9) no longer fires twice on a single press (thanks Corro!) An audio device hiccup during startup now recovers gracefully instead of crashing the app Old diagnostic files no longer pile up in your temp folder, and any left behind by earlier versions are cleaned up automatically Quieter internals: less log noise and sharper crash reporting so real issues get fixed faster You may update to the new version in the app itself!
