@NSmallwood54 @axiochrono In all the examples of STV that exist we have far more localised representation than what the UK has now. Lots of Westminster MPs have no connection to their constituency whatsoever.

@western_british No, the system is designed to work with any set of numbers so I'm theory you could get loads of independents elected if you gave them enough votes. Sugden (U) is the only independent winning here, Easton has been filtered back into the DUP.

@morty_ryan @BelTel @LucidTalk Thanks. It's an unpredictable year and these are much bigger swings than were used to. Our projection will change a lot before May as polls shift and candidates are finalised, so I wouldn't worry about today's numbers in 9 months.
@camannua The Irish Greens are pro-UI, but the NI section is not and their MLAs have always designated as Other. We use the formal designations for everyone.
