So they legally couldn't release it because of that. That case ended under Trump's 2nd term, hence the Transparency Act.

@perrel63764 @ComicBook That's completely fair, but I would put the ruining more on Waititi than The Russos. The Russos at least tried to combine the Shakespearean Thor with the changes Waititi made in Ragnarok. So even if you prefer pre-Ragnarok Thor, they at least tried to bring elements of it back.

@perrel63764 @ComicBook If you said Hulk, I would agree. But Thor was one of the characters the Russos improved. They blended goofy and Shakespeare Thor well in Infinity War and gave Thor a beautiful arc touching on PTSD and Depression.
