Just saw this about Tasha Ghouri and bullying over deaf speech. Hearing people need to learn to deal with it, since you're the ones who expect deaf people to speak, over glorify CI switch ons, etc. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
Qualifications Wales suspended GCSE BSL indefinitely. Instead they've come up with a fraction of a qualification which can be taught in as little as 5 hours by an unqualified "BSL teacher". It is meaningless, insulting and a tokenistic exercise. Trick or treat.
