I understand needing to make sacrifices to fit better into an economic situation *I* created. I’m not going to be told I have to make sacrifices for a mistake the government made, enacting a policy they were specifically warned would raise prices.
The "just switch to chicken" argument resonates with people who have kids and understand needing to make sacrifices in the kitchen. Tell it to a DINK couple and they will hit you a thousand yard stare. What do you mean a pound of beef is $11? I thought this was America?
