I had an OpenAI usage reset that expired tonight. With about 20 minutes left, I was about to use it when the power went out. It stayed out for five hours. I didn’t have a laptop with me, and that’s when I discovered I couldn’t use a reset or even check my usage on mobile, either in the app or through the website. So the reset expired unused. Moral of the story: don’t wait until the day your reset expires to use it.

Jev by @typesafeai is now on OpenRouter, in beta. Jev is a System One model. Instead of generating text, it takes your app's state plus a typed question and returns a typed decision with a probability attached. There is no JSON prompting, parsing layer, and nothing to validate

I try to set things up so I never have to approve anything. Coding happens in a sandbox so yolo. Purchases use my Robinhood Agentic Credit card and are restricted to things on my shopping or wish lists. Deployments have automated validations. My email flow is Agent 1 writes an email and stores in drafts. Agent 2 checks the email for content and against my intent. If Agent 2's checks fail it is sent back to Agent 1. If Agent 2's checks fail three times it gets bounced to me otherwise Agent 3 does a final check against all the rules I have set in Obsidian for outbound mail and if it passes the mail is sent otherwise it gets bounced back to me. Agent 1 is Kimi K3, Agent 2 is GLM 5.4 and Agent 3 is Astra.

I discovered this morning that my work account has Astra and I have been playing with it for the last two hours. I also am testing it via my Azure account. I have been trying workflows in the lab that 5.6 Sol can't do. Astra has so far completed them all successfully. In fact despite my best efforts I can't seem to find something it can't do. I had it set up a completely new vnet in Azure with all our standards for routing and security. Everything, and there is a lot. It takes us days to do it even with parts of it being automated. It did it all in a little over an hour. All I gave it was our documentation which is outdated. It figured out the problems with the documentation and created updated documentation for me to approve. All of our validation tests are still running but so far nothing has been flagged. The validations are going to take longer than it did to build it all. 5.6 Sol could not get past the first step because it requires navigating the GUI of an internally developed system that frankly looks like it was designed by a drunken orangutan. Astra had no problem with it. I have it doing a test new site deployment in the lab now which is another thing 5.6 Sol can't do. It is already past the point that 5.6 Sol fails at. I have not added any new skills or special tooling. It has exactly the same setup as Sol. I am honestly stunned. I can't let it out of the lab yet but when security and compliance approve deployment it will have a massive impact.

Seeing Hermes Desktop text paste out of order? It may be the clipboard format, not the text. In cmd.exe for example, use Ctrl+V instead of right-click. In formatted apps, use Ctrl+Shift+V or Paste as plain text.
