As initially announced on Pi2Day, the Pi Wallet now integrates Onramper, a third-party, KYB-verified on-ramp aggregator that simplifies on-ramp services for Pioneers. This integration offers a streamlined way to participate in the Mainnet ecosystem! Onramper can be accessed through the Pi Wallet where Pioneers can choose from available KYB-compliant on-ramp services and utilize the one they prefer, subject to each on-ramps’ regional availability and other restrictions. Note: the only KYB-verified on-ramp partners are Onramp. money, Transfi and Banxa.

Tate’s known for stirring the pot like this, especially with his controversial takes that have even caught the eye of Trump’s circle—like when Trump Jr. called his Romania detention “insanity” or when Elon reinstated his X account. Pi Network is adding email-based two-factor authentication to the overall account management and verification. minepi.com/blog/update-on… This change addresses challenges with current SMS (text message) account verification, improves security, and lays the groundwork for future verification methods like passkeys and biometrics. To ensure a secure shift, system level analytics and checks were required to validate how Pioneers verify their accounts using the new method, which led to a temporary pause in migrations.
