I was diagnosed with head and neck cancer in 2021. I went through 70 radiation treatments, about 20 rounds of chemo, and a five hour radical neck dissection. Then the cancer came back. On June 3, 2025, my 25th wedding anniversary, I opened my patient portal and learned it had spread to my lungs. Stage four. I was told I might have four good months left. That changed everything. I started Keytruda, but I also started researching what else I could do. I went carnivore, eliminated sugar and processed foods, focused on protein, optimized vitamin D, magnesium and zinc, added high dose IV vitamin C and other integrative treatments, got sunshine, exercised, and tracked my labs. Six months later, two lung nodules were undetectable. The other two had shrunk by 50%. Today my cancer is stable. Can I tell you exactly what made the difference? No. But I stopped being passive about my health and started asking questions, researching and taking an active role in my treatment. That has worked for me. I am still here. WaynesCancerJourney.com
