Een digitale euro blijft onnodig en onwenselijk wat mij betreft. De afhankelijkheid van Amerikaanse betalingsinfrastructuur kan worden verminderd door de uitgifte van euro stable coins. Wat de linkse lobby met een digitale euro wil, is precies de reden om er niet aan te willen: de geldcreatie zo volledig mogelijk in handen van de overheid leggen. Als de digitale munt dan ook nog wordt geprogrammeerd, wordt de vrijheid sterk ondermijnd. Controle over uw economisch handelen komt dan in handen van een niet democratisch gecontroleerde club van centrale bankiers/EC bureaucraten. ⬇️

I used to be an Ethereum dev in 2016. I was the original cofounder and CTO for Cent - platform that later sold the Jack Dorsey tweet NFT for $2m. One of the first NFT projects on mainnet. Let me be clear - I never believed everything would live on “one chain.” Makes 0 sense.
