@AlexMonahan100 if I only place EV bets when the "chance to hit" is say 49% or higher, does that mess up the model? Or does it just give fewer opportunities per day?

@Jeff_Eager Are you no longer a member of the Republican party? Do you support the President?

@Jeff_Eager Read the room man, your party is an organized crime family and you're complaining about a quid pro quo?

@chris_volmer @rockhoundzs @father_tiresias You seem to be engaging in good faith but have you ACTUALLY looked at the data? You're dismissing data points (wealth concentration) because they don't fit your preferred narrative. Look at things like wage or wealth growth during times of high wealth concentration.

@KarlMarxsux @iowahawkblog AfD* not ADL. You get my point though.

@KarlMarxsux @iowahawkblog Such flimsy grounds as... his own statements, his avowed beliefs, his vocal support of ADL, his support for Nazis on this platform AND an overt Nazi gesture? Yeah what a wobbly case.

@darth_devo @iowahawkblog You realize the premise of this thread is "That Musk salute sure seems kind of fascisty" right?

Well folks, it's been a good run but it's time to move to a platform that is not owned by an overt Nazi. Feel free to follow where the skies are bluer. (bencook)

@iowahawkblog That's a debatable answer to a question that wasn't asked. Call me crazy but the world's richest man who has considerable influence on POTUS being a Nazi seems pretty bad.

@JonahDispatch You mean the thing where he does the gesture (looking rather angry) both directions and then after that says my heart goes out to you? I mean it’s not like he has a history of supporting Nazis, right?

@tonynwright @Apple @Googlr I’m sure their legal departments are telling them differently. And I’m not sure what political motivation you’re reading into it. President Trump called for the law, Republicans passed it, and Google donated a million bucks to the inauguration.

@tonynwright @Apple @Googlr Despite the explosion of executive orders in recent administrations, that’s not how the law works.

As I wrote in a guide to surviving demagoguery 8 years ago, if you favor Trump or some of his policies and support him in good faith, make a list of things now you would be disappointed if he did or did not do. Try to keep yourself honest if you can. Don’t join a cult.
