Beam is collapsing infrastructure categories that have traditionally required separate products/protocols/platforms into one programmable bandwidth layer.

Where does data infrastructure go when bandwidth becomes distributed, programmable, and more affordable? Toward systems that move data where it needs to go, when it needs to move. That’s what Beam is building.

Beam already has the network, the fast transfers, the Rooms and the Streams. Rooms can already support far more than simple file movement. On-demand distributed training is the next piece of the bigger picture. More at Exploit Summit.

“You can literally build your Discord on top of Beam.” On the latest Novelty Search, @b1m_ai demonstrates how Bittensor’s Subnet 105 can power live video apps without developers running their own streaming servers. The team also previews Beam Studio, its tool for automating data transfers, and explains how parallel transfers can move 1 TB across Cloudflare R2 regions in under two minutes. @JosephJacks_ @planepowers Congratulations, well done

With @Dreamforce festivities underway, it felt appropriate to announce this one: Beam has built a @salesforce connector. Move and stream data from Salesforce into cloud storage, private infrastructure, applications and AI compute or ingest data back into Salesforce through Beam. Salesforce ↔ Beam ↔ Data ↔ AI Enterprise data now moving on a distributed network. (Powered by #Bittensor )

Beam is currently processing ~1 TB every 30 minutes. That’s: 48 TB/day 336 TB/week ~1.44 PB/month Distributed programmable bandwidth, running continuously. SN105 b1m.ai

Upcoming Beam integration: @openclaw . Beam is building an OpenClaw skill that will give agents access to Beam’s programmable data movement and streaming capabilities. Deeper integration with Beam Rooms & Tunnels is also coming, enabling agents to connect with private resources, streams, applications and compute through Beam. This integration will also be live alongside the Beam Studio release, giving users a direct way to bring OpenClaw into Beam-powered workflows from day one. OpenClaw → Beam → Data, Apps & Compute b1m.ai

Beam × Zapier is coming. Beam is opening a direct bridge between Beam infrastructure and the thousands of applications already connected through Zapier. A transfer completing, a Room event, a Tunnel coming online, or a stream starting can trigger workflows across Salesforce, Slack, HubSpot, Jira, Gmail and thousands more. Then, with the Beam native app inside Zapier, the path goes both ways: application events can trigger Beam transfers, Rooms, Tunnels and data workflows. Applications ↔ Zapier ↔ Beam ↔ Data / Streams / Compute Zapier connects the workflow layer. Beam connects the data layer.

Yuma has invested substnatial resources to bring $TAO to our institutional partners and the millions of end users they serve. Congrats to the team on a tremendous milestone.

1,000,000 TAO now staked with Yuma. Because our validators run on owned hardware infrastructure, that's 1 million more TAO securing Bittensor's network consensus, through validator operations trusted by participants ranging from non-custodial wallet owners to global exchanges

Beam Rooms & Tunnels are now live: Beam is expanding beyond data transfers. With Rooms & Tunnels, Beam can now move and stream data between multiple participants in real time: → Data transfers → Messaging → Live streams → Media As these new capabilities roll out, a short adaptation period for Orchestrators and Workers will be necessary as they update and prepare their infrastructure for these new workloads. Meanwhile, our automated terabyte-scale regular data transfers are not affected. On the contrary, we're ramping those up as well. More data moving. More types of data moving. More ways to move it. Bandwidth is now programmable. (Powered by #Bittensor 😉)

beamcli in action ... create rooms/tunnels and start broadcasting data with just a few commands 👀

Use-cases on Beam will be endless. Plug-and-play skills competition and marketplace. Stay tuned.

Every Beam function is authenticated. Every authenticated action is metered. Every metered action creates economic demand for Beam alpha. API Key → Function → Usage → Alpha Demand We're building the economic layer directly into the infrastructure. b1m.ai SN105 #Bittensor

Before their release, it’s important to get familiar with Beam Rooms and Tunnels. Tunnel = Dedicated pipeline to a local resource. Room = Private session for invited participants. Broadcasting = The ability for Room members to stream data to each other. Together, they expand Beam from moving data between endpoints to creating private, programmable data networks. Buy subnets where cool stuff is likely to happen and it usually does if you wait long enough $TAO

Beam Tunnels are coming. Any local machine or private server can become reachable through the Beam network, without opening inbound ports or directly exposing the machine to the public internet. Local → Cloud Private → Private Private → Public Machine → Machine And with private AI routers (like @say_gm_), tunnels can become agent-enabled, allowing agents to securely reach and move data across infrastructure. S3, R2, Hippius, private servers, local machines and more. We think this opens a lot of interesting possibilities. ⚡ b1m.ai SN105 #Bittensor
