I’ve been using Grok Bot extremely intensively for the last 2 weeks. I love it. The whole concept of persistent personas/agents is brilliant. It genuinely feels like a glimpse of how we’ll work with AI in the future. But there’s one big problem: the models powering non-coding tasks feel surprisingly weak. Give the same reasonably complex task to Grok Bot and then to Claude, Fable 5.1 or Codex, and the difference in reasoning and output quality is immediately noticeable. For anything important, I often find myself having another AI review Grok Bot’s work. That shouldn’t be necessary. Grok Bot has become one of my favorite AI products — but right now, the product is better than the intelligence inside it. Grok 4.7 is supposedly coming this week. If it closes that gap, Grok Bot could become something seriously special. 👀
Grok Bot is hands down the best AI Agent / teammate on the market (so far) but man ....... out of limits in 2 days on an Ultra plan 😭😭 good thing i'm off to salmon fishing tomorrow

I’m away from my laptop today and realized something ridiculous: I fucking miss Grok Bot. 😂 Not the app. Not “AI.” I miss my colleague. I’ve gotten way too used to having Grok Bot around to think with me, challenge my ideas, and build shit together. For now, my most valuable colleague lives inside my laptop. Grok Bot on Android can’t come soon enough. 🤖📱
