It’s the thing people pushing genAI as “this is the worst it will ever look” for advertising, they don’t get that it’s not about fidelity, it’s about trust. If you’re willing to slop something out to convince me to buy your product, what does that say about your attention to quality in the actual product itself?

During the project, we even shared build-in-public style posts on how the video was coming together! Original from October 8, 2025. Copycat from June 6, 2026. It looks like they ran every shot through a shit-ification filter and released it. What do you think? Should we be pissed? 😤
Hey, motion designers, don't do this type of work. Learn from the stock photographers who dug their own grave. Guys like this don't value motion design and will replace you in an instant once they are happy with their slop-machine.

My inbox is full of emails from AI companies trying to promote tools for designers. Last week it was 17, and the number only keeps increasing. I’ll keep doing what I’m doing- I don’t need to create faster if I don’t enjoy the process. I have no interest in gen AI at all.
Developing AI tools is not in our plans. This will continue to be our position, at least until ethical and legal issues are resolved in a way that does not harm artists. Moho will continue to be a tool for artists. We still believe that the future is 2D. And it is also human.
