quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-131… 2015: "C++ compiler exception handling is completely broken" reported 2016: "Would anyone at Embarcadero care to comment?" 2017: "Resolved" 2020, 2022: Customers saying "Nope, not really fixed" What a tire fire this #CBuilder is!

@EmbarcaderoTech If Embarcadero is using the clang infrastructure, then it shouln't be too difficult to get the Android 64Bit compilers up and running. So far we can't see any official Embarcadero statement about the future of Android. Guess why?

@lefticus Year 2020 and this is what @EmbarcaderoTech sells for a lot of money: Buggy compilers based on Clang/LLVM 3.3, 3.5 and 5.0. People need to know and stay way from their tech. community.idera.com/developer-tool…

@lefticus First job was using Borland C++ builder. I remember the compiler being a bit... crashy. Did you have a question?

@lefticus here!

Are there any experienced Borland C++ Builder developers in my extended twitter network? Asking for a friend.

C++ Exceptions: 4 years later, still unfixed Maybe "elite" C++ programmers do not need exceptions? #Embadero quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-119… quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-272…

Closing issue without actually fixing the bug. Great strategy, @EmbarcaderoTech! quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-122… quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-170…

Oh, and another one: "...together with just as old and also still not fixed RSP-13423 , it makes my beloved tool very crippled." quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-135…

@EmbarcaderoTech: Free 36 months update subscription! @MikeVersteeg: "This 4 year old major bug is still present in 10.2.3." ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-134…

.@meetingcpp NOT funny! "ancient" @Embarcadero RAD Studio 2010 ships with a custom boost 1.39 - stripped from anything that needs TR1

@Manu343726 @meetingcpp sounds familiar. Embarcadero often crashes during debug sessions, too. I have to kill the IDE, lose all breakpoints.

@MenaceInc Hopefully no @EmbarcaderoTech there!?

I was joking about #Delphi's splash screen to be shown later so Embt can claim that it finishes much faster now. Today my Internet was down and guess what I had to "witness". Seattle: 22 sec splash screen time Tokyo: 2 sec splash screen time Sounds fantastic, but...

Sometimes, when I want to pass some time I still browse the Embarcadero bugtracker and forums. It's like watching a terrible accident happening in slow motion. Multiple cars, explosions, screaming, blood everywhere, ... Strangely fascinating!

"Characterized it better, its a nightmare." "RadStudio Clang is still not production ready" quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-197…

Happy customer: "Why is this marked as closed, and why has the title been changed? More than 4 (!) years after I first reported this bug (and been faithfully paying my subscription fee) it is still present in 10.2.2!" quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-135…

@EmbarcaderoTech seems a little bit pushy these days...
