Thought this was a pretty cool project from Flare’s recent hackathon. It puts so many of Flare’s core protocols to work: dorahacks.io/buidl/47915 - FTSOv2 for oracle pricing - Flare Confidential Compute (FCC) - FDC (Web2Json) for attesting external data - FAssets (FXRP) TAPE tracks crypto trading influencers’ predictions, verifies them, and holds them accountable. Their full record is attested and recorded on-chain using Flare’s infrastructure, so deleted or edited calls can’t disappear. With all the garbage, low-quality, clickbaity information flooding X and the rest of the internet, it’s exhausting trying to find anything meaningful and trustworthy. This is one practical way to cut through the noise, and I suspect we’ll see a lot more of this kind of verifiable information brought on-chain in the future, powered by Flare.

ProofRails's product will definitely expand the use case for AI agents in general. As the machines start to automate more and more tasks for us, they will need pathways to get verified, accurate data, to complete those tasks that can also be auditable. The simple example would be a payment receipt for a product or service, but as tasks get more complex and rich, agents will need to access multiple APIs to chain their results together in order to produce the best expected outcome for you. In doing so, ProofRails enables the end user an auditable trail so they can understand the total cost of each task.

The market sucks. It’s not going to suck forever. I try not to navel gaze. I spend 60% of my time thinking about what comes next and 40% of my time helping the team execute on existing plans. Unlike a lot of projects that have blown through their capital and are shutting their doors, Flare remains well capitalised. We have had massive success with FXRP (biggest XRP usage by a factor of 5-6) in the worst possible market - I expect usage and TVL to increase markedly as certain things come onstream - aided by a market recovery. I want to do the same with FBTC. Then there are killer apps for the whole space that CAN ONLY really be enabled by the FCC in conjunction with the rest of Flare’s product suite. Lastly we will see Flare start to be used more widely for crosschain data. Every inch we move forward will raise Flare’s profile and everything feeds revenue into FIRE.

JUST IN: A $1 stablecoin CRASHED to nearly zero after a nearly $1 MILLION exploit. Balance Coin, meant to hold $1 value using Bitcoin-backed collateral, crashed more than 99% to around $0.0014. SlowMist said the attacker fed the protocol’s oracle an extremely low BTC price, triggering liquidations of vaults. The attacker then seized the collateral and converted it into about $912,000 in profit. BLC now trades at $0.00075, valuing the entire 3.51M circulating supply at just $2,570.
