Parents of students in @apsupdate you have to make your voices known. Call the district and tell them to start their search again. It’s worth waiting rather than settling. A 💩 appointment will set the district back even further. @BOEAPS is lobbying (unofficially) today. Don’t let them do this to the students. @wykeishaforAPS @ltka1234 @APSTransparency

What she said! Don’t let the students down @BOEAPS. Fire HYA and start again. It’s worth the wait.

@BOEAPS In the board retreat Coach Ashley, said “The board exists to represent the visions and values of the community (US) That is why you are elected “You all are in those seats because we voted for yall” Keep that in mind now It's time to make the right decisions or it’s

🌞 Sunlight is the best disinfectant. For those just waking up to the nonsense of the educational money pot of superintendent selections ⭕️ Mr Joseph @ HYA pushes a slate of candidates to @BOEAPS (who based on quick Google searches are either not qualified or have questionable work history but they've been packaged by HYA to qualify) and then those candidates give him consulting contracts paid for by the district that just hired him. He wins, kids lose. Rinse, repeat once the damage is done to our district. Good thing someone realized this and leaked the 3 names. Again, why is the most qualified candidate being ignored - is it because she won't give kickbacks to HIYA? 🧐 🛑 The state @gsbacomm needs to intervene and maybe take over at this point, our @apsupdate kids deserve better. @GOSA_GA @GovKemp @coleMuzio @woodsforsuper @JasonDowneyBOE @AJC_education @Marthareports @JustinGrayWSB @stateaffairsGA @GADOESDI @GaImprovement @georgiadeptofed @VoteClintDixon @Chuck_Payne @SonyaHalpern_ @Vote_matt_brass @StephenGooch @WestmorelandATL @andreforatlanta @CourtneyEnglish @MeshaMainor @atlcouncil @DougShipmanATL @AFSCME @APSTransparency @CommAPSProgress

Good Morning Atlanta! So @BOEAPS what’s the word on the new Superintendent? 😂😂😂😂. Everyone is saying a certain board member is pushing for Watts. I wonder if they know each other? Hmmm….. Who works for whom now? @wykeishaforAPS @ltka1234 @APSTransparency

Atlanta stakeholders: if you want to stop the foolishness the @BOEAPS wants to pull, you need to make your voice known. Call the district and tell them our students deserve better than the 3 finalists. Word got out for a reason. If there had been a good candidate none of this would’ve been leaked. The community panel leaked this to prevent a nightmare. @wykeishaforAPS @ltka1234 @APSTransparency

Dear @BOEAPS get a clue - this is just a sample of the hundreds of comments about the Gwinnett super on your shortlist to hire for APS. Honestly what are you ppl doing? Do your job! He is not it!

“[Choudhry] was a stark contrast to superintendents I had worked with, because most of them have PhDs and have also been superintendents before. He didn’t have the educational background or the experience.” @BOEAPS, @apsupdate is in crisis. Technical skills are a minimum req.

"When you have superintendents who are run out of town that are welcomed into a new town with open arms, you have to wonder why,” he says. HIYA needs to go. They package up these candidates being forced out to meet the new criteria, make a fee, kids suffer, scored plummet, rinse & repeat.

Google searches will save you column inches in the @AJC_Education every time. I think the fact that @Marthareports posted the same night the 3 finalists met the community panel shows how far behind the @BOEAPS is in this process. @wykeishaforAPS @educator4ever36 @PeskyDyslexia

To @BOEAPS - just try to name one of those 3 finalists and I’ll grab my 🍿. Did you even look at their data? You really just think your constituents are dumb if you’re trying this 💩 on them. You really think the parents of @apsupdate are dumb. It’s the only reason. I can consider that you’d look at these three. 🤦‍♂️

@Marthareports @AJC_Education Oh great. Just what @apsupdate needs, a superintendent who allowed more fights under his watch. 🙅🏻‍♀️ No wonder Gwinnett wants him gone. Who does the research on these candidates?
