I built a Photoshop-like image editor. It’s called Compositor. robbietilton.com/compositor I originally built it for myself to get off my Adobe subscription, but decided to release it for free and make it open source. It has all the essential tools I need for compositing, with none of the BS. I know this workflow is kind of archaic in 2026, but I’m still using it until AI can actually get pixel-perfect on some of the details. The entire app is 12MB. Photoshop is 6,455MB on my machine.

The paper he is referring to is BitWhisper from 2015. The cpus had to be 0-40 cm apart, both had to be compromised and the bitrate was 1 to 8 bits PER HOUR. That’s how misaligned AI will kill us? Maybe we will all die of boredom waiting to decipher what they are doing.

nice makes sense. mine never extrapolates so the server never has to correct anything. if your input misses the tick deadline the server just repeats your last input and commits the frame. everybody computes the same world from the same inputs. which is why the server doesn't run the sim, it just orders inputs and relays only the slow person lags, not everyone
