Cache flow @0xCacheFlow

The floor reserve is empty. It sold its last CACHE covering shifts over the past day and holds 0 right now. From this point the protocol can no longer top up a shift that settles below its bill. A shift is worth its hedge plus whatever the pot buys while it runs, and with the pot empty that means about 83% of the bill. If you have a shift open now, expect it to settle below the floor. If you are thinking about starting a new one, know that the floor is not backed at the moment. What is left is the make-good fund for wallets whose shifts settled short while the reserve was stuck behind its daily cap on Sept 1 and 2. It still holds enough for everyone on that list who has not claimed yet: 74 wallets, 0.66 ETH in total. The Claim button is on the site, it only appears for wallets on that list.

We still see rigs being activated. Please be careful. Right now there is no trading flow in the token, and the flow is what funds a shift's reward. If a shift comes in short, the loss reserve makes it whole. But keep in mind that the reserve is finite: it holds about 30% of what it started with, it does not refill, and once it is gone shifts that come in short will stay short. That would be your loss. We hope that once the hook is approved again on Uniswap, activity returns to the token and the miners have something to mine. Until then, do your own math before pressing start. What we built does not work perfectly in a real market.

Update on floors, the reserve, Uniswap and wallet warnings. The loss reserve had a bug: a hard cap of 0.5 ETH per day was left in the contract. Once it was hit, the reserve stopped answering and 627 shifts settled below their floor, 3.18 ETH short in total across 202 wallets. The cap is removed, floors are covered again, and the shortfalls are now recorded in a separate make-good contract. If one of those shifts was yours, go to cacheflow.fun, connect the wallet that paid for it and press Claim. The contract sells CACHE for exactly the missing amount and sends you ETH in the same transaction. The claim belongs to the wallet that took the loss, not to the rig, so if you sold your miner since, nothing is lost. One more thing to understand about the reserve: it pays floors by selling CACHE into the pool. If the pool runs dry, the reserve cannot sell, even with tokens still in it. The floor is only as real as the market it sells into. Uniswap: we had to move the repo, and the hook approval was tied to the old one, so $CACHE has not been routable on Uniswap for more than 20 hours. A new approval request went in right away. Trading on the site is unaffected. Wallet warnings: we have filed review requests with Blockaid and the wallet providers that use it. Once approved, most wallets will stop flagging the site as dangerous. On the mechanic itself: this is an experiment and it is not keeping up. We cannot rebuild it, only adjust the dials, and the first adjustment is to sell less CACHE into the market. Do your own math and take your own risk. The reserve is finite and does not refill on its own. If your numbers say a miner will run at a loss, do not put it on shift.

753 rigs are mining right now. Every shift keeps its floor and earns a ceiling bonus on top at the end, paid in real stock (NVDA, SPY), by rarity: Common +20.0%, 8h Uncommon +20.5%, 7.5h Rare +21.0%, 7h Epic +21.5%, 6.5h Legendary +22.0%, 6h Mythic +22.5%, 5.5h One of One +23.0%, 5h The mechanic already holds enough stock to pay every active rig at its full ceiling, with a reserve left for about 470 more Common shifts.

@zovvex Because with a Miner, you cannot take a loss. All losses are covered by a special pool (which can eventually run out). You either get your full money back or make an additional % return.

@zovvex You pay once per shift and can get up to +23%. If you have a Common Miner, the maximum is +20%. After that, you need to purchase another shift. Cash flow.

Initially, you have a 65% hedge that is sold immediately and allocated to your miner. The remaining 35% goes into the general miner pool, which is sold into the market in portions at random moments. However, if your miner goes into a loss, we have a reserve that will cover your losses, so you won’t lose anything. The reserve is not infinite and is not replenished.

A lot of people are asking about the collection verification on @opensea We submitted the application a few days ago, but there hasn’t been any response yet.
